    About

On July 29 (the day after I started this project), my youngest daughter was proposed to in the San Antonio Botanical garden by her army medic boyfriend. We knew he was going to propose, but he had originally planned to wait until Veterans Day in November. Because he had received his orders to deploy, he moved the proposal up. There is no date set at this time due to his deployment. They are tentatively looking at November 2018.
My 27 year old daughter has had her "wedding planned" for years. She wants a Regency style dress. Her sister and I are going to work out the design of the dress. At this point the main portion of the dress is to be made of silk. I am not sure at this time how we are going to incorporate this pattern. Since it is a freeform design of motifs, it will lend itself very nicely to anything we decide to do with it. The original thought is as a lace overlay of some sort. The Regency style has several options for the use of lace.
