    About

This little Pocket Poppet was inspired by my 2 year old granddaughter. She loves to play dressing up dolly, the more outfits the better. I found the little suitcases online and the large one is ideal for packing both Pocket Poppet and her outfits, shoes and little toy duck in neatly. When she comes to me during the week while mummy is at work she brings her little suitcase with her and Pocket Poppet keeps her amused most of the day. There are so many outfits to dress her up in.

Pat - do any of the other outfits work for Elderberry Bunny? I know the hats may need adapting due to ear positioning but some of your other creations have a lot more outfits to choose from and I'd like to mix it up a bit with my next bunny

They are all beautiful. I have just started knitting from a selection of Mary Jane patterns but have not knitted any dolls yet.

I love these pocket poppets and have purchased the pattern and some ballet pink paintbox which I hope is suitable for the body. I really like the little boy poppet with his very pale hair, I wondered if you would be kind enough to let me know what yarn you used so I can purchase the same.

The Pink Ballet is a good colour for the skin tone. The hair on the little boy is King Cole Luxe Fur. I'm not sure if Loveknitting sell it but you can google it :)

@Gypsycream aka Pat A: Thank you. I've found the king cole luxe fur online. I'm going to knit the little boy for my grandson and a little girl pocket poppet with copper hair for my red headed niece.
