I completed this project at Christmas and I must say I am sooo pleased with the results. It's soft and silky and the finish is fabulous and stylish - you must give it a go.

I've also ordered Sirdar Softspun Chunky - Colour Nest (580) for the amazing price of £0.75 per ball instead of £5.80 - that's 80% off WOW!!! to make the square poncho later. The only thing with the King Cole Riot is that it is extremely soft woven so you will need to be ultra careful when casting on as it splits really easily. However, the max number of stitches is 65 so take it slowly across the cast on and you will get there. I've done the first inch or so this weekend as I am finishing off another project, but I couldn't resist and I have to say it looks really fab. Can't wait to carry on. I will keep you posted on my progress.
