This was my first ever brioche project – apparently I like a challenge! I figured out how to work two-colour brioche on a single row, no slipped stitches, which made it go a lot faster. (Watch my blog, studio-miranda.com/blog, for a tutorial on that method.)
My inspiration was a fir forest in winter – I wanted to suggest the strong angles of those snow-laden branches, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
