    About

My daughter, Rachael, loves dinosaurs, and her absolute favourite is the triceratops. The knitting component of this pattern is fairly straightforward, however there is a lot of sewing at the end (2 full days’ worth), and there are no diagrams for the sewing up. I don’t think I got the legs right, but Rachael is happy!

Thanks, Michelle. I did start making the baby one as well, but after eventually finding 1 mm needles, I found that they were just too thin (and sharp) to knit with!

@Tamara C: I don't think I have ever seen 1mm needles wow, I couldn't use them either. I was looking at all your beautiful knitting today and saw the mermaid blanket, you commented on how hard the sequin wool was on your hands well I was using it for the first time today and you should see my hands.🤔

@Michelle M: I found the 1 mm needles on Etsy but knitting with them was like trying to knit with sewing needles! The sequins do look lovely, but I wouldn’t want to knit with them too often. Thank you for your kind comments 😊
