I had some a lot of paintbox dk yarn left over from a baby blanket project and the pattern seemed perfect for the yarn i had and for my daughter who loves bright colours and rainbows. I did change the colour stripping as i only had 5 colours instead of the 6 and i missed the top button hole and i had just finished sewing the regal seems and the edging before noticing :/
