    About

A few summers ago, I visited Edinburgh zoo and fell in love with their rhinos. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, the zoo staff somehow noticed the rhino that I’d stuffed up my jumper so I was forced to give it back. So, instead, I decided to make my own using this nifty little pattern!

He’s great. I might have a go at this myself.

Thanks, Val! He was surprisingly quick to make - I think he only took about a fortnight of evening and weekend crocheting! :-)

Aww, so pretty! And so neat compared to my African flower gang :)

Thanks, Marysia! To be fair, I've had quite a lot of practise with Heidi Bears' designs - before Ray, I did the hippo (well, who hasn't?!), the giraffe, the pony and the frog. I was addicted to African flowers for a while there!

Lovely muted colours; just perfect for a Rhino named Ray!

Thanks, Dell! It took longer to choose the colours than it did to make him!
