    I was looking on the internet for the King Cole Halloween leaflet when I spotted the Christmas leaflet and saw the adorable picture of the reindeer. He is so cute that as soon as I saw it I bought the pattern and the Tinsel Chunky yarn and knitted it as soon as I got them in the post. I knitted him at a time when we were having new windows put in and I need a distraction from all the noise they were making. I'd hear a bang and think to myself "I don't want to know" and would carry on knitting. As soon as my mum saw it she said she wanted one too, so I had to knit another one! The pattern was really easy to follow but it was hard sewing all the pieces together. Due to the nature of the yarn when you're sewing everything together you can't actually see what you are doing, so that made it quite hard. I didn't buy the suggested yarn for the antlers or nose as I had some red and brown yarn in my stash that I wanted to use and they only needed a small amount.

      So cute! I too fell in love with this pattern, ordered the yarn and started today. Did you put anything in the legs to help him stand up as suggested in the pattern or does he stay up without anything?

        I didn't put anything in the legs, I just stuffed them relatively firmly and he stands up on his own. I'm glad you like the pattern too
