Rock Weed Cushion

    About

    It's my first real project. I'm learning as I go. Beyond a basic knit and purl it will all be new and I'll work it out when I get there!

    I don't think I'd ever finish it if it was for myself, but because it's a present, I've got an extra incentive.

    I'm hoping to have it done in about 6 weeks, if not sooner.

    Update July 7th: after a short break, I've just finished the bottom half of the back and the turning row. Next up, the front and I'm going to need to learn what to do with a cable needle...

    Update late July: had to order more yarn. I'd been optimistic. When the designer said it takes 2 hanks, but order 3 to be sure, I tried to be economical and order 2. Ran out of the 2nd ball about 80% of the way through.

    Update August 3rd (3 days before my wedding, which is my deadline as my sister's birthday is when I'm on honeymoon): Finished!!
