    About

    My brother in law is travelling over from Switzerland for Christmas so this is the perfect gift for him to fit into his hand luggage to take back. My brother in law is always wearing handwarmers so what better gift than a pair of handmade ones and a matching hat to go with it.

    I reduced the size of the hat from 18cm before the shaping to approximately 15cm. This reduced the slouchiness of the hat. The pattern also did not state enough yarn and to make the larger size hat and hand mitts you need just over 2 balls of yarn even with the adjustment I made - to make it to pattern you definitely need more yarn
