    About

    With winter days approaching I've made a baby set based around my popular Rowan baby jacket to keep a little man cosy whilst out and about. Soft pure merino wool in a soft shade of grey for the jacket and stay on boots with teal and roasted red to add colour to the Top Knot beanie and mitts in the stripes. Mismatched buttons in co-ordinating colours add a trendy vibe. Garter stitch is my favourite for it's modern yet timeless style.

        I designed this jacket for my latest grandson Michelle. The edging is knitted. You pick up a st in each garter st ridge from the bottom of the front up and around the neck to the bottom of the other front. You then cast off on the WS. I use it a lot on my designs. The pattern has instructions for both a boy and girl's version too :-)
