    About

This is my own pattern. I'm working on developing a rugby shirt pattern for baby boys and toddler boys. This is effort number 2. I continue to like Cascade Heritage 150 as the yarn for these rugby shirts. Note: my camera did not accurately pick up the subtle shade of 'Trellis' yarn. It is a beautiful shade of green/blue/gray. Like slate or green eyes. The yarn is very soft and strong as well.

Hi Melissa. Cascade discontinued the (very terrific) yarn I was using - Heritage 150. So now it's back to the drawing board while I try to find another sport weight yarn that is soft and machine washable and dryable.

Hi Melissa. I just published a rugby pattern. It's called "Ritzy Rugby." Free pattern. Hope this will work for you. It's not a standard type pattern, and the directions are rather open-ended since I couldn't find yarn comparable to the Cascade Heritage 150.

Thank you, Susan. I'm working now on Rugby #3, so maybe I'll get this published sometime this year. It's slow going. I'm just doing this for "fun." (Senior citizen version of fun.)
