Lovely cardie, looks snugly too. Good that the pattern has a range of sizes. I'm putting this on my Hamish list for the winter

I see you have made some gorgeous knits! I am also a big fan of OGE designs. Like you my stash just appears but I am trying to use it.

Thank goodness for Ikea under the bed baskets, they hide the extent of my stash!

@Lyn R: Ah my embroidery stash is under the bed 😂 Just bought Kallax units for the rest of it. Best thing is the boxes at the bottom ideal for yarn!

Thanks Maria, whilst this was a fairly easy knit, the sewing up of up all the bands took all the time.

@Lyn R: While I've only recently (last few months) fallen back into enjoying sewing up garments, I'm still avoiding sewing on button bands, or picking up stitches for button bands. Still my nemisis

This is lovely Lyn the colours are so pretty together and I love the style.those wee buttons finish it off so well. Sounds like you are flat out entertaining, do your family not know they are keeping you from your knitting. Lol😊😊😊😊

Wow Lyn this is just gorgeous. Love the colour and the buttons match perfectly.
As usual beautiful knitting. How are your jumpers coming along? You did mention you were knitting for yourself, or are you like me and buy the wool and patterns for yourself and then they get put on the back burner so you can knit for everyone else.

Thanks Jennifer. I did finish both jackets for myself but of course yet to wear them in this ‘still summer’ weather! I try not to leave anything unfinished (other than my knitted Peppa Pig, which was disastrous). Just finishing off a little waistcoat for Miles as it’s his 1st birthday in a couple of months. Then BIG knit, jumper for other half, yarn arrives tomorrow from BWM. That will be a labour of love!

You will have to post some photos of your jackets. Would love to see them. Surely this is the last of the hot weather. At least it is good drying weather today. I had five loads of washing to do today because we went away straight after having visitors, so I hadn't washed for over a week!

@Jennifer M: I know that feeling Jennifer. It’s like Air BnB here. We had friends from NZ here for 10days, then son and family fly in this Friday from Broken Hill for a few days.
