    About

I retired June 1,2016. I have worked all my life and needed a project to keep my interest and fulfill my days feeling productive. I started in October by knitting leg warmers, boot cuffs &, fingerless gloves to improve my knitting skills. I started working on the socks & started with double pointed needles, but changed to the magic loop method as I had found on YouTube. I first did the ribbing first for my socks and struggled with this method, saw the Toe-Up Magic Loop method by Staci Perry and this method worked for me. In my process of making the fingerless gloves, leg warmers & boot cuffs I found how hard it was to make two that matched. I have finished the Sassy Socks, as pictured, by magic loop & knitting two at the same time. As a retired Grandma I would have the opportunity to purchase a good variety of bright colors to make my 8 Grandchildren striped Sassy Socks. Therefore, please chose me to win this contest and help me fulfill my retirement goal of being productive.
