    About

I started this project just 45 days before my holiday to Japan. It was an ambitious timeline on my part, with this being my first project that I planned to complete (and only my second attempt at knitting). I was able to source the wool locally, and started knitting immediately. I started the scarf while away for my brother’s wedding – with every spare moment devoted to it. Due to the chunky wool and size the scarf took shape very quickly, which made sticking to it so easy.

Before I knew it I was half way done. Initially I had some worries if it was going to be large enough, but as it grew I was worried it was going to be too big! Most of the project was completed in about 2 weeks. With it then sitting for about a week on the last ball until I had some time to finish it. All the knitting of it was finished about a week ago. I finally had some time to sew in the ends and add the tassels today. I couldn’t be happier with my completed project!
