    Here are 2 scarves made from the same pattern. The purple/black/chartreuse scarf is made from variegated DK weight yarn with a very long color repeat (King Cole Riot). I think it looks like the Northern Lights. The turquoise/black scarf is made from variegated aran weight yarn (Malabrigo Twist) and I think it has an undersea feel.
