    About

I have already made a smaller one for her little sister Tilly and as I still had quite a stash of the green yarn from one of my ‘never started’ projects, I decided to use it for cardigans for the girls. Whilst I used the same 3 colours for the girls, I alternated the order in which I used them so that each jacket was individual.

Thanks so much Denise. I miss them terribly & they are now staying on in Vienna until possibly end of next year. The handknits have certainly come in handy in the much cooler climate there.

They are lovely (the cardis and your grandchildren). What lovely colours. I have thought about getting this pattern and now I am definitely going to give it a try.

Such a gorgeous photo of your granddaughters in their sweet cardigans. Two little girls... like my granddaughters who live in Hong Kong.

Thank you Raewyn. Yes I have always loved that green, so bright. Both granddaughters are blondies, so the colours will really suit them.

Thanks Vera, my granddaughters now live in Vienna, so the warm cardigans are very useful - but hopefully back in Oz next year.

Thanks Val. I have only just taken up knitting again this year after a break of 8 yrs or more. Knitting for the grandies is so rewarding, I never knitted for my own kids I was too busy working!
