For anyone stuck on stitches check out youtube - there are loads of vidoes demonstrating every stitch imaginable and once you watch a few times they're quite easy to learn. Good luck!
Great Job! I've just bought this pattern and I am too stuck with the 'Knit to next st and loop across st' So... once you have P1 the first St, do you then move the yarn to the back of your work or do you keep it to the front? I know if you keep the yarn to the front whilst knitting, you start crossing over your pattern? Thanks, Charlie
Love your Cardi Tricia, have just purchased this pattern, luv it ,but I can't work out how to the"Knit to next st and loop across st." It is most likely very simple. Any tips on how to do it . Thanks Tricia
I think you you P1 the first St. Then K the next St, and K the next St (which is behind a loop) then P the next St.
So the two slip stitches - knit them both in the 2nd row.
The 2nd row is the right side.
The knit stitches are proud and there's a loop between the two proud knit stitches.
Hope try this makes sense.
Try it out with piece of spare yarn to practice the Rib pattern - I found it was very useful.
