    About

My daughter-in-law gave me a treasure trove of discontinued Cascade Heritage 150 for Christmas that she had purchased way back in March while it was still available. It's one of my favorite yarns. I used my own pattern (free) which is top down seamless. The colors look like sherbet - orange, raspberry and lime. There's room for a t-shirt to be worn underneath, but the yarn is soft enough to be worn next to the skin. Machine washable and dryable, no pilling, doesn't split - why did Cascade discontinue this yarn? If I do this again, I will make the narrow (green) stripes just a little bit wider by one or two rows so that the width of the stripes matches the width of the button placket.
