    About

I felt this Shawl was totally different from any of the other shawls that I knit I love a challenge. Challenge this was. I like to feel I am an advanced knitter and this stretched me There is an error in row 175 that can throw you completely and a tip I would give to anyone uses markers at the end of every 48 stitch section This helps pick up any errors quickly and saves having to take rows out. Which I had to do twice. All in all I will knit this once more then it will be put on the back burner

Hi Debbie. I’m knitting this at the moment and like you, have found it really tricky. I’ve just got to the border edge and think I’m doing it completely wrong. The pattern only tells you to turn every odd row - is this right? It’s very confusing, so any advice you can give would be welcome.

Ah ha! I think I’ve figured it out. The border is knitted sideways. Wish me luck!

Its beautiful and I think this will be my next project! Can you advise what the mistake is on the row mentioned?

I work full time so I did most of it at night and days off. I would say it took me 6 weeks Watch out for row 175 it knocks the full pattern off Thanks for the comment x
