I loved this jumper on sight as I was looking for something summery. I decided to knit it in the Debbie Bliss luxury silk yarn which I bought in the sale. I don't know how it will look on me when it is finished, but the yarn is beautifully silky for knitting. The pattern isn't particularly complicated for intermediate knitters but you do have to pay attention and be careful, really careful, not to drop a stitch especially if you decide to knit it in slippery silk. The pattern took 10 balls of the silk yarn. In the main photo, which I edited with an editing software, you cannot see the little bobbles right at the bottom edge of the jumper (because the garment needs pressing) but they are there. I like it, and it feels lovely to wear. I shall probably wear it with a baby blue summer skirt that I have.
