    About

Wanted something to keep me warm while I work on my projects - of course!! I used a laceweight yarn and knit them flat, two at a time on circulars....I'm playing with sewing them up - potentially leaving a gap at the top to let my thumbs poke out - in the style of athletic-wear - rather than adding a thumb gusset..... will see how they work and can make up my mind for the next pair! I may join and knit the next ones in the round, but I don't know yet. I used the cable section from a lovely Debbie Bliss cardigan pattern as the basis for these - I knit through the back loop to increase the definition.... will see how they work!

Thanks Anne! Have a Merry Christmas & all the best in the new year ahead!
I will make a few more pairs of the wristlets before I try my hand at the Debbie Bliss cabled cardi - hopefully by then I will have the tension and pattern rows down!
