    About

Wanted a blanket to go over his new single chair and I had a load of odd balls of wool. This is why it is not quite square. Lots of odd balls used up so happy. I added a scalloped boarder alternating colours and the same wool as a slip stitch all around the back loops only on the edge.
The alternating edge was 9 SC in one colour leaving loop big so it does not slip. Attach the next colour at the start of the first SC. *2 SC, skp 2, 7 trebbel crotchet in next stitch, 2 SC. Drop onto foundation row and 9SC leave loop and pick up the last loop** and repeat * to ** Remember to untwist wool from time to time for easier work.
Used cable stitch to join and cross stitch on edge of each square.
cross stitch: chain 3, skip 1 base, treble into next, treble into previous repete

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 4.50mm (US 7)
    • Crochet Hook 6.00mm (US 10)

    Measurements

Notes: I did 5 rounds (not including middle) of log cabin.... treble crotchet 12 in a row then turn. Work 7 rows before turning 90 degrees before continuing in the manner of a log cabin blanket. I made 3 blocks before attaching them all together. So it was VERY long
