    About

I'm getting a head start on Christmas gifts. This is my own pattern. I will publish the pattern as soon as the scarf is finished. The photo does not adequately capture the fluorescent neon green in the Riot yarn, which glows like it has an internal light source. The pattern is 2 rows Riot, then 2 rows Ramble. The soft brown heather of the Ramble yarn is a good foil for the outrageous Riot. The black in the Riot yarn really smolders like coals, and I think this scarf will look good with a black coat. The black and purple sections of the Riot yarn give the soft brown Ramble a lilac cast. The colors look like Northern lights, which I have never seen. Very fun and easy scarf.

Thank you, Rene. I will publish the pattern soon - scarf is now about 6 feet long - getting there. Oh, but now I am thinking about a matching hat pattern. The Riot yarn in colorway Reflections opens up the imagination. Oh, I wish I had test knitters!

Thank you, Alison. Once in a while, serendipity steps in, and I manage to choose exactly the right yarn for a project.
