    About

This pattern has something for everyone - granny motifs for tradition, popcorn stitches for texture, mesh stitches for interest, and colourwork heart pattern for a bit of challenge and sweetness! I designed this as a stash busting project, with the square motifs as the starting point and initial inspiration. In baby blue and white, and with the interspersed popcorn stitches, the blanket reminds me of cool, crisp winter days. The colour scheme would suit a baby boy, but can easily be changed, for example, by substituting pink for the blue, or using other pastel colours such as lemon.
