    About

She is also the recipient of the snow dipped scarf. And so when I discovered the fingerless gloves I had to make them, I used Plymouth DK yarn for the blue, variegated sock yarn for the stripe and HIKoo CoBaSi for the wristlet. I have to admit that I probably restarted these mits 3 times to find the right amount of stretch in the right places. The HIKoo gives the wonderful lacy base AND stretches to get your hands in since it contains elastic. But the other reason for the restart is because the pattern is in UK terminology. Says so right on the pattern!

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 4.50mm (US 7)
    • Crochet Hook 4.00mm (US 6)
    • Crochet Hook 3.50mm (US 4)

    Measurements

    Average adult

Notes: I really had to play around with needle sizes to get the width changes to conform to the hand. It was otherwise to narrow in one place and too wide in another
