    About

    This is the yarn which my husband chose for me to make some socks from when we were on holiday last month. There is something really exciting about taking somebody to a yarn store (especially when they are on their holidays!) and letting them choose some yarn which they like.
    I cast on whilst waiting in the queue to get on the ferry in Amsterdam and had reached the first heel by the time we disembarked - socks really are the perfect holiday knitting project, as they take up so little space and the rows are very short, so the project can be set aside easily if necessary.
    My husband is thrilled with the result! (They're not really my choice, but I think they will match his hi-vis jacket perfectly!)
