      Do you think this project/pattern would be suitable for someone with very minimal knitting experience? A bit overwhelmed with all the references to different techniques in the pattern.

      The socks look great though! Very nice looking yarn.

        I'd only ever knitted scarves before this project so I know how you feel! It was the most basic pattern I could find that I liked the look of and I started with a practise stock which I eventually unravelled once I'd got the techniques down. I found some really great tutorials on you tube which I wouldn't have managed without.

        I'd say jump in and go for it, it's a great learning process and feel free to ask me if you can't find something you need! Good luck
