One of my daughters and her family live in Austria. Plenty of scope for woolly socks, especially in ski season. I used the Very Vanilla pattern and it came out just right for an eleven year old with size 5 (eu size 37/38) feet. I used a Regia 4ply that knitted up into a rather neat pattern.
