    Plain mitts. This wool is so nice for mittens I will definitely be making more! Very soft and great for a dense knit.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 3.50mm (US 4) 20cm
    • Double Point 3.75mm (US 5) 20cm

    Measurements

    Notes: Cable wrist: Use plain mitten pattern but then ribbing:
    (over a multiple of 4 stitches)
    row 1: K2, P2 (repeat all around)
    row 2: K2, P2 (repeat all around)
    row 3: K2tog leaving st on LH needle, K first stitch again and then slip both stitches from needle, P2 (repeat all around)
    row 4: K2, P2 (repeat all around)
    -repeat these four rows until desired length

    Use any old mitt pattern - Burgundy pair - 3.5mm needle, 44 stitch wrist, 46 hand, 9-1/2" total before decreasing at top. Same for larger brown mitt but used the 3.75mm needles and knit to 9-3/4 inch before starting decrease. First pair good for small women's hands, other are medium women's.
