    This is going to be a gift for Mother's Day. My mother-in-law had wanted a scarf for Christmas but work commitments left me with insufficient time to do anything too ambitious. The brief was 'woolly but dressy' so I thought this would fit the bill and decided to do make it for Mother's Day instead. I didn't want to leave it too late and not have enough time which is why I got started in January and it actually took less time than I anticipated. I hope she will like it!
