Squared blanket

I made this for no real reason just wanted to do something different and i had a few odd balls of baby double knit left

    Just saw some patterned squares while browsing the internet and thought, they would make a nice blanket. Started off really well but due to a stay in hospital and using the use of my left arm for a few weeks it has taken a lot longer than i thought.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6) 25cm
    • Crochet Hook 3.00mm (US 2.5)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

    Notes: Each square is 4 inches 10cm x 4 inches 10 cm. Edged with one round of Double crochet stitches. Then sewn together with a simple edge to edge stitch and finally edged with one round of Double crochet stitches. I did mine 6 x 8 squares

      This worked out really well, looks so lovely. How did you join them all together?

        Thank you. I did a double crochet edge round each square in one colour then used basic edge to edge stitch with a darning needle. looks a load neater when all edges are the same colour x
