Looks gorgeous! Is that ordinary rib or a special rib pattern? It looks a little different, and nice and interesting. I tried the Debbie Bliss link to see the Stevie pattern to see what kind of rib it is, but it goes to an empty domain that is for sale, I don;t think she operates independently anymore but only via Love Knitting. Any information regards the ribbing or pattern appreciated. And I too, love the colour you've used, rich and uplifting!
Thank you. It calls for a twisted rib pattern.. Knit 1 thru back loop then purl one. Let me know if you have any trouble. This makes the 3rd one I've made. Going to make 3 more. The free pattern (DB194) is included with yarn orders from love knitting. Let me know what size you're making and I will let you know how many balls of the "Piper" yarn you need. I made the 35 1/2" bust for my daughter inlaw she is a 36" bust and it fit perfect. I have also made the top with Lion brand 24/7 and it worked out great.
@Patti H: Wonderful to learn about your projects and twisted rib, love the way it looks, thank you for being kind and generous by describing it. I will get back to you if I get stuck! Your work is beautiful and the pattern a very flattering shape. No wonder you have had, and are going to have many more, on the needles, enjoy! : )
@Patti H: Yes, thank you! You might like to link yours to this Ravelry page as completed projects: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/db194-stevie
It would be good to see there too. Happy knitting.
