        I worked out the correction as follows:
        row48 - 2 of the dots should be crosses; row 50 - 1 dot should be a cross; row 52 - 1 dot should be a cross
        I don't know whether this has been picked up by the publisher of the pattern

        @Christine R: I'm struggling with this pattern too! I understand the change to Row 48, but how does this affect Row 49?
        And row 50: at end of row, there is a purl stick between the crosses and the dots. How does it work out if you change one of the dots to a cross? Does the purl stitch in between remain?? Same question for row 52. Help!!

        @Anonymous Alpaca: Hi Toni!
        Row 46 2 WS knit
        Row 47 2 RS knit then w&t
        Row 48 as for row 46
        Row 49 4 RS knit then w&t
        Row 50 4 WS knit
        Row 51 6 RS knit then w&t
        Row 52 6 stitches in pattern

        Can you see the pattern?

        @Anonymous Alpaca: row 49 is a right side row so you knit an additional 2 stitches to work back along the diagonal. Row 50 the purl stitch should be a cross ie no stitch. Likewise row 52, you are working an extra two stitches on each RS row. Look further on at rows 53 to 79 to see the pattern. I hope this helps. Once you can see the pattern you should be fine.

      I love this design but am now starting to regret it. having reached the first corner and knitted the first 44 rows, I am now completely at a loss, have already undone it and started again several times 5 I think!! I can't get it to work....googled it founds lots of unhappy knitters, found some suggestions which I've tried but no joy....Help

        Hi Gillian. The corner pattern has some errors as you work round the corner. Have you seen my corrections in the thread below? If they don't make sense post another comment and I'll try to help. I've just finished my second one working to the amended pattern.

        I made the large version, which I blocked to the dimensions on the pattern, approx. 130 x 170 cm.

      This is a beautiful throw, so much so I am making another one in Dune! The instructions for the corner are not quite correct but easy to rectify once you get a feel for what the pattern should do.

        @Mira T: row48 - 2 of the dots should be crosses; row 50 - 1 dot should be a cross; row 52 - 1 dot should be a cross.
