    When my daughter-in-law was expecting she asked me to make a stripy blanket for the new baby. As we didn't know that the baby was a boy or a girl I went for a simple but colourful blanket. Grey, red, teal and cream pure merino kept Theo cosy in his car seat. This smaller blanket saves bulk as it's designed for car seat use and there's no trailing blanket to worry about either.
    Easy tv knitting and good for a novice too. It can easily be made larger but additional yarn will be needed.
    I've finally got around to writing up the pattern too.
