    About

This romper is to go over the shirt I made by combining features of two patterns I purchased: Milla’s Summer Suit onesie pattern by PetiteKnit and the Plymouth Yarn Top Down Baby Pullover pattern. I am using the same Light Blue (CC this time) and Tan (MC this time, with stripes in the body of the romper. I will make size M for 12 months.

The Leslie Sunsuit pattern by Erika Flory called for US#7 (for the body) and US#5 needles for the ribbing. To match the fabric of the sweater I made, I again used US#5 circular needles for the body and US#3 DPNs for the ribbing around the leg holes. I also left off the bib, in order to approximate the design Mark’s mother wanted for the outfit.

    Measurements

Notes: Medium (to fit 12 months baby)
I left out the bib and made the straps longer, with two buttonholes each, so they could be adjustable, also can be adjusting by crossing in back. I knit in 12-row stripes, and made leg-holes, waistband and straps in the main color, three stripes in contrasting color.
