    About

Last year I got some recycled silk yarn for Christmas. It sat in my stash for ages and ages, and eventually I decided that it was time to stop being afraid of laceweight (it knits up so SLOOOOWLY, dammit. I could make ten sweaters in the time it took me to finish the raglan increases), and stop being afraid of large projects.
So I looked up lace clothing patterns, and I found this. Not any actual lace charts, so my horror of blocking might be eased, and I think it'll drape really nicely.

Notes: I am making this to a size 34" bust, which is precisely what I am. However, my gauge is just a LITTLE large, and the yarn is stretchy. Since this yarn is silk and drapes a lot, I think after I knit past the bust, I will try to make decreases so it's at a size 32" for the rest, since that's my waist size.
