    About

    I have admired this pattern for a long time. It has so many variations; long sleeve, short sleeve, cap sleeve, shrug/bolero, full length cardigan, it really is a great pattern. I loved the way the gathered pattern turned out, it looks beautiful and I would happily use it again. The pattern was not difficult, with detailed descriptions. I like knitting with the top down design. I used the same cotton yarn that I first knitted a little girl's sundress with, and more recently Sarah's summer cardigan. It has lovely colours to chose from and is soft to knit with.

    Notes: Although Hannah is not quite 6 years old I knitted the 8 year size as my knitting gauge is always on the small side.

        Thank you. It is so much fun knitting for them and so wonderful that they wear my knitting so much :) Hannah has 'teaching her to knit' on her Christmas List... which she has made for her first Christmas in N.Z. with us!
