    About

    I was thinking of calling this project Heinz. I used yarns from more than one maker. All the same yarn weight, DK. The final colour, Patons Fab DK "Orchid* is much darker in real life.

        @Anna P: You are most welcome. I'm shopping for yarn when I saw your notification. I'm in need of some Pink Satchel therapy. Just don't tell my husband

      Really beautiful. If it's an original pattern, you should think about selling the pattern itself on Loveknitting and Ravelry.

        Hi Cherry. This blanket is very simple. The pattern is just one I made up.

        I used a Tulip 3.75mm hook.

        1. Make 150 chain.

        2. 1 treble in 4th chain from hook and continue 1 treble in each chain to end. 3 chain and turn.

        3. Miss treble closet to hook. *3 treble in next treble. Miss 1 treble. 1 treble in next treble. Miss 1 treble*. Repeat from * to * end. 1 treble in turning chain, 3 chain turn.

        4. *3 treble in middle treble of group from previous round, 1 chain. Miss treble from previous round* Repeat from * to * end. 1 treble in turning chain. 3 chain turn.

        5. *3 treble in middle of group from previous round. 1 treble in 1 chain space* repeat from * to * end. 1 chain in turning chain.

        Repeat steps 4 and 5 for 89 rows. On 90th row 1 treble in each treble and 1 chain space till end. 1 treble in turning chain. Fasten off.

        For the border I just worked 2 rows of treble. In corners I put 2 treble, 2 chain, 2 treble.

        This is the first time I've written this pattern

        @Maggie S: Typo. It's 5th chain from hook on step 2.

      My Sunset Marble blanket is featured as the project of the week in an email I just received from lovecrochet.com. I was very happy.

      Hi Sarah. They take from four to seven days to make. Each blanket has a total of ninety rows. Two rows around for the border.

      Hi Maggie you are becoming the Queen of these blankets. They all look so good whatever the colour scheme. How long does it take for you to make these up?
