    About

18 dec it looks more like something I'd find on the beach than a piece of clothing
26 December and it actually looks like it might be a jumper! I'm enjoying the shaping in this pattern and going top down. A new method of knitting for me.
It required some patience in the set up rows. But there's no sewing up at the end 😀👍

I'm really struggling with mine! It looks right, I have the right amount of stitches at the front and back but not the sleeves, it doesn't make any sense we to me. Any clues or tips? I've been knitting all my life but this has me stumped!

I think from memory I got a little confused with the increasing. Once you've set it up it will probably be ok. Remember that at each "seam" (4 of them) you have one increase for the sleeve and one for the front or back. The increases have direction too, depending which direction the make 1 twists.
I don't usually use stitch markers but in this pattern I found them indispensable.
There is also that funny row that increases across the front neck line and gives you the nice line of eyelets. Make sure you've counted that and got your front count right.
        I hope that helps.
Good luck and enjoy the challenge.
