    About

She wanted a sweater dress for after her baby is born and chose this pattern. I have to say that the pattern was not as explicit as I expected. For example it told you to wrap next stitch but not how to do it. I am not that keen on knitting with circular needles. The rib bit was supposed to be twisted on both knit and purl stitches, but I cheated and just twisted the knit stitch as it can be so time consuming to twist a purl stitch. I think it will probably look better on than it does in the photo. PS It looks lovely and she wears it often. Fits perfectly.

    Pattern

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 5.00mm (US 8) 10cm
    • Circular 5.00mm (US 8) 30cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : There are no seams so you just sew in the ends. The only difficulty was that the balls of yarn were 50g ones so more ends to sew in than if I had used 100g balls.

    Measurements

    31 in

Notes: She hasn't tried it on yet but it looks okay. The sleeves seemed very long, but they do go up to mid palm with thumb holes like gloves.
