This is my 2nd project along my journey to remember how to knit! It has been over 50 years since my Yugoslavian babysitter put knitting needles and yarn in my hands and taught me the knit stitch. I made this shawl to cover up inside the house as I go about my daily routine. It’s the perfect size to stay out of the way yet provide warmth. I struggled with the pattern, not feeling 12 rows were enough, and not sure what to do from there based on the instructions. I grew frustrated and ripped it all out, taking the general idea but happily “making it up” along the way! I would like to try again & stick to the original design which is so beautiful, but I might need to reach out to the original designer to ask how to continue after row 12. I love this little shawl nonetheless and will be making another! I learned how YO makes beautiful lace!! This yarn is so pretty and soft and full of gorgeous character! And I had no trouble with itchy eyes despite a wool sensitivity. Luv it!!
