    About

As I am retired and can keep about a dozen knitting projects on the go at once, I decided to take a break from all of them as they are largish projects, and knit something from my oddball stash. While I knitted this bonnet out of 1970s/80s vintage Patons Feathersoft 4ply, Patons Fairytale 4ply would work just as well.

Hello Jayne, I was reading in your comments to Hazel you were going to look for a pug pattern.there are a few around the two I do know are the Deramore dogs one and I have actually knitted the Knitting by post one,I hope that helps. It will need a wee sun hat to wear in Noosa.lol.😊😊

        Noosa

Yes, I found and have favourited the pattern for the pug toy here on loveknitting. Haven’t looked at Deramores yet, but have found some insanely lifelike crochet pug patterns on Etsy. Gotta love the idea of a sun hat for him!!! I am desperate to find a great knitting pattern for a black toy pug to match my real life black pug - if I can find one then, just because you have said it, I will also make him a wee sun hat for the Noosa weather.

I miss the old Feathersoft soooooo much - it always knitted up evenly and felt great in the hands - I know they made a “new” feathersoft once, and it was awful - like knitting string!! Thankfully there’s Patons Fairytale now.
