    About

    Saw the wool first and was taken in by all the colours. The self striping yarn is fun and quick to knit with, as you tend to keep on going to the next colour. They are cosy to wear and being 4 ply, not too thick for my every day boots. Easy to care for, wash well on wool cycle in machine. Fun to wear. my favourite socks to date.
    Quite addicted to knitting socks at the minute, have made my husband a pair (in larger size)and am now on my third pair for my self.
    Knitting socks is great as you can just have a pair on the needles and pick up and put down any time, with only the occasional chance at the pattern. Not boring like scarfs, enough to keep the interest going, and so many lovely wools to try.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 2.25mm (US 1) 10cm

    Accessories

    Other : Didn't find need to put spare stitches on stitch holder when working heel, just left on needles not in use.
    I quite like using the little wooden needles as they are light to use, and the stitches don't slip off. 10 cm size i find is about right.

    Notes: Tried sock on for length before working toe. Good fit.
