        Thank you Michelle. I am in love with this pattern: it’s knitted top-down, and other than missing a “YO” at the end of Row 17, the pattern is easy to follow. The only thing I changed was to substitute the “fancy” rib pattern for simple twisted rib for the bands. I used a yarn called “superb 8”, by Fiddlesticks, but I have just got some Paintbox 8-ply, and that would be great as well.

        @Debra N: Thank you for spotting that. I have updated the pattern. Row 17 should have read: k5, (YO, k6) x 17 – 18 – 19, YO, k5 :-)
