    About

I made a similar hat for my grandson last winter using a commercial pattern but the sizing wasn't right so I designed one that fits into the sizing for my baby patterns. It's in my favourite garter stitch in easy stripes although it looks lovely plain or just with a contrasting trim and pom pom. If pom poms aren't your thing then it can be omitted and the hat will still look cute on a little one. Girlie colours are beautiful too!
The mitts are on crocheted strings to thread through a jacket or coat so that they don't get lost but a piece of ribbon or elastic can be used.
A quick knit for a trendy baby boy or girl.
One of my regular customers saw it and loved it so much that she ordered the hat in the brown / gold beige colourway too!
