    About

A few years ago I made a cardigan for Hilary and made the stupid mistake of ordering the number of balls without checking 50g or 100g. So I ended up with twice as much as I needed. This has stayed in my cupboard all this time, because basically it's a horrible colour! It looked grey on the chart and she wanted grey. But when it arrived it was greeny khaki grey - horrible. I did the cardi, for her and she said she liked it (although I've never seen her wear it!!) and I got so fed up with the load of wool in the cupboard I decided to do something with it. I really liked the effect of the reverse side of the stitch on Maisie's cardi I just made, so I thought I would give it a go with this pattern. Nothing ventured...

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6) 80cm
    • Circular 5.00mm (US 8) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Holder

    Measurements

    91/97cm

Notes: I made it longer, but it turned out way too small for me, probably because the stitch is a kind of rib. It’s NOT flattering!! But it felt really comfy so I think I’ll do another, only two sizes bigger
