I used a selection of yarns from my yarn stash. The project knitted up very quickly! The one issue I had with the pattern was that the main body of the cosy was knitted in garter stitch, as in the pattern photo, but when it came to the shaping for the top the instructions changed to stocking stitch. I knitted the first side following the pattern and the second side all in garter stitch, as the photo which I preferred, so took the first side back to the start of the shaping and re-knitted it in garter stitch.
