    About

Spotted this pattern on this site and knew the girls would love a new scarf. The girls put in their request for which animal they preferred.

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Creative Corner Super Soft Acrylic 100 gm - Cream 1 ball
    • material-yarn
Creative Corner Super Soft 8 ply Acrylic - Copper 2.0 balls

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.25mm (US 3) 80cm
    • Circular 4.50mm (US 7) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : Small lengths of yarn for eyes & nose

    Measurements

    91cm x 13cm

Notes: Pattern uses 10ply yarn, but difficult to source here, so used 8ply and smaller needles which resulted in a scarf slightly shorter and not as wide as pattern. But still a good size for an 18 month old.

Thank you Val, I am now about to embark on making the cat scarf for eldest granddaughter. Knitting the actual scarf is easy, the fiddly bit is doing those tiny ears, eyes etc.
