Trauma teddies

I made this for my son and daughter-in-law who are officers in Police Scotland. The teddies are for officers to give to children when the officers have attended an incident where a child has suffered trauma.

Yes Catherine, I think a lot of the constabularies do. I know Police Scotland do and Northumbria Police do and many more.

What a lovely reason to knit teddies. It's a lovely bear and I think the bright colours make it look so cheerful.

What a beautiful teddy and some small child will treasure it forever. What a fantastic idea, I know our ambulances have teddy bears they give to children too. You have made a lovely pretty wee teddy.

Lovely teddy, love the colours of her outfit. Going to a good cause too,no child should suffer unnecessarily and if a teddy can help this is ideal 🧸

Your teddy is lovely and seems to have a calm presence to help a child. Obviously no child should suffer a truma.
